We are currently seeking a full or part time Marine Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for boats and possess a strong mechanical aptitude. Previous marine mechanic experience is preferred but not required. As a Marine Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of all types of marine engines, electrical and hydraulic systems, and related equipment.

Duties include:

• Performing routine maintenance and inspections on outboard and inboard engines, including engine tune ups, oil changes, trailer light and brake repairs, new engine and electronic installations.
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on boats, including steering, propulsion and electrical systems.
• Using a variety of hand and power tools to perform repairs and maintenance.
• Maintaining accurate records of work performed, including parts used, time spent and any additional repairs needed.
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Applicant should:

• Be dependable and detail oriented.
• Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Have good electrical troubleshooting knowledge. 
• Have strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.
• Be able to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:30am to 5:00pm
